TRANSPORTATION
LTL / FTL
FLATBED TRUCKING
Flatbed trucking allows for transportation of cargo that doesn't have to be protected by trailer walls. The trailer can be easily loaded from all sides and angles and allows for transportation of goods that don't normally fit a regular trailer. It can be easily loaded with heavy items requiring the use of a crane.
ROLL-TITE
Also known as a Conestoga trailer, roll-tite trailer is a trailer with a retractable rack and curtain mechanism that slides back and forth in order to protect cargo when loading has been completed. It allows for easy access to both sides of the trailer or even loading from the top. Then the curtain slides over the loaded items for added protection.
B-TRAIN
B-trains are combinations of two trailers attached to a truck. This type of trucking allows for transportation of large quantities of all sorts of goods in a very efficient way. The capacity of B-trains is usually doubled as opposed to trucks pulling just one trailer. B-trains significantly reduce cost of transportation.
MULTI-AXLE
Multi-axle trailers as the name suggest are trailers with many axles for added durability and to allow for transportation of heavy loads. Axles in such type of trailers are located relatively far from the point of steering. Multi-axle trailers allow for transportation of large loads and relatively easy steering.
STEP DECK
Step deck trailers are similar to flatbed trailers but with two deck levels. The Shorter and higher part of the trailer is located at the front while the lower and longer part is located at the back of the trailer. This type of trailer allows ease of access from every side and is great for transportation of goods such as machinery or building materials.
DRY VAN
Dry van is an enclosed, non-temperature-controlled truck trailer with an average length of 53 feet. This type of a trailer is often used for transportation of non-perishable cargo and provides shelter from weather elements. It is one the most common types of transportation used in everyday long- and short-haul trucking.
REEFER
A refrigeration truck commonly known as “reefer” is a truck designed to carry perishable goods that must be stored at low temperatures at all times. This type of trucks is often used in the food industry while moving loads over long distances. Refrigerated trailers can be easily adjusted to allow for transportation of many sorts of goods.
